Ran across this great article on DRM by Jeremy Allison at ZDNet. In it he compares DRM to Star Trek style engineering.

Jeremy Says:

Believing in a DRM business model is like joining Star Fleet security, putting on your red shirt, and volunteering to beam down to the new unexplored plant with Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

Some of you might remember it from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I guess this one goes along with Chopsticks.

If your the other person who actually views this site, you might have noticed me coming back. I’m not really sure if it will be for good yet. I’ve been working on a few other projects and just generally trying to get a feel for this online thing. Ditties are fun, but trying to do them so often and everything seems so rushed.

But I’m going through my links, posting all the news and goodies I have, along with a few ditties I had in the can.

Ted Nuggent on Steak

Yet another Nuggent rant. In this piece Ted Nuggent goes off a bit on Paul McCartney for firing workers because they sneaked a burger. I dunno how the labor law there is so I won’t bother. I think I’d rather work as a roadie for Ted more then Paul though.

John was always my favorite.
