The story: Lead singer Chad Kroeger was having trouble coming up with a name, and so approached his brother, who worked at a Starbucks. Coffee was $1.95, which meant every customer who paid two bucks got—waiiiit for it—a nickel back. (It was either that or We’re Sorry About the Homeless Man Shooting Up in the Bathroom.)

It was a long day yesterday, moving is hard work all around. I’m so mentally and physically exhausted. Today doesn’t look any different.

Someone made a comment on YouTube yesterday about Note Learning, so I thought I’d post this one today. I’m sure someone else has come up with this exercise and I’m not the inventor. I wish I had done this for all four fingers. It seemed to me a good way to learn the fretboard. As your doing this exercise you can read out the notes your playing. I think this is also a good exercise for finger warm ups as your using every finger. It doesn’t sound too melodic, but you can’t beat it’s utilitarianism.
