Found this link awhile back that showcases a collection of stringed instruments made entirely out of matchsticks and glue by Jack “The Matchstick Man” Hall.

If you read the whole thing and follow the link at the bottom.. then read that whole thing. You’ll eventually see some beautiful pictures of the matchstick guitar along with the matchbook guitar case made for it.

While I recorded this one I could just hear the string section coming in the second time around. I’ve decided to save the best for last this week. From here on out I’m going to be taking weekends off. There just isn’t enough traffic on them and everyone deserves a day or two off. So until Monday your stuck with this one.

I’ve been playing with a friend of mine every now and then. His guitar was tuned down a half step and in my opinion this ditty came through a bit better that way. You guys get it in standard tuning. Feel free to play around with it.

I’ve had a really bad toothache the past few days. Apparently in a few days I go to get three teeth yanked out. I didn’t really care, for the first time in my life I was more concerned with getting pretty pain pills.

The pain has been unbearable. I’m barely lucid as I type up this post. And the pain pills don’t seem to be working. I’ll be so glad when they get yanked.
